Well, I took some time off to sort things out. We took a trip to Mallorca and saw some amazing modern architecture there (more later). Over the winter holidays we decided to move rather than to add on to our existing home. The new home needs interior renovation, which we're excited to begin; we decided that doing a major exterior renovation in our current home just wasn't what we wanted to be doing with our time for the next year (and with young children in the house).
So, our current home is for sale by owner. It's an open, bright home in a fantastic location -- an easy walk to Fox Chapel schools, library, community center, swim club, and a quick commute to Oakland or downtown. It's situated on amazing level property -- almost an acre. We priced it low to sell quickly because we close on the new home in 2 weeks and we don't want to hold two mortgages.
